JUNIOR GOLD 2026

Junior Gold

The Junior Gold program represents an important pathway for young rugby players, guiding them from grassroots participation to elite competition. This pathway begins at the local level, where players develop their skills and understanding of the game through club participation. As they progress, they have the opportunity to compete at regional levels, potentially representing teams like the Edmonton Gold or the County Warriors, where they can refine their talent and showcase their abilities against top competitors in their area.

From regional play, promising athletes can be selected to represent their provinces, competing for the Alberta Wolfpack and gaining valuable experience in higher-stakes matches. Exceptional performers may even have the chance to advance to international competitions, where they can represent Canada and compete on the world stage.

This structured pathway not only fosters skill development and personal growth but also helps young athletes build confidence, teamwork, and leadership qualities. Join us in exploring the Junior Gold program and the exciting opportunities it offers for aspiring rugby players!
