EDMONTON RUGBY UNION AWARDS
The Edmonton Rugby Union proudly recognizes the exceptional contributions of clubs, players, officials, and administrators each year through our annual awards. Nominations are submitted by both clubs and their opponents in October, ensuring a comprehensive selection process that fosters mutual respect within the community.

The Harcourt Shield honors clubs that demonstrate dedication to the sport by fielding two or more senior teams and offering a junior rugby program. The rankings for this award are based on regular season standings from U13 up to the Senior Men’s and Women’s divisions, encouraging clubs to invest in grassroots development.
Additionally, the McGee Trophy and Referee of the Year award are determined by the Edmonton Rugby Union Referee Society (ERURS). These accolades recognize the vital role of referees in maintaining the integrity of the game and promote respect for officials in our sport.
We encourage all members of the rugby community to participate in the nomination process and celebrate the achievements of their peers, honoring the spirit of rugby and the commitment that drives us all.
