By enhancing their coaching techniques and approaches, coaches can create a positive environment that maximizes player growth and overall team performance. Anatomy of Coaching Supper Series

This fundamental skills development series is designed for coaches of all levels. We focus on building confidence and consistency in how to coach core rugby skills: what to coach, how to coach it, and why it matters.

The RugbySite Coach Summit

A two-day coaching boost. Sessions are hands-on, relevant, and actually helpful. We are building community, connection, and clarity.

Contact Confident

Contact Confident is a coach AND player welfare contact preparation program delivered to players and coaches at the same time, in the same environment. The program is designed to build confidence, physical competence, and safety in contact, with a specific focus on tackle and ruck preparation.

Set Piece Ready

Safe, consistent scrum & lineout coaching for High School Players, High School Coaches, U11 – U18 club players, and U11 – U18 club coaches. Sessions are available to the public and will be held at local clubs – if your high school is near a club, please attend!

Tackle Smart

This 3-hour course is aimed at all coaches with all levels of experience and is geared toward high school and intro to contact (U11, U13 & U15) coaches.


Following the course participants should be able to:


  • Confidently and safely introduce the tackle to athletes new to contact.
  • Clearly understand the Laws of the Game relating to the Tackle.
  • Know how to access resources and support from Rugby Canada and World Rugby relating to the Tackle.
  • Clearly understand the intent of Tackle SMART to reduce injury rate.

Play Smart

Rugby Canada PlaySmart is a Player Welfare program that aims to educate players, parents, coaches, match officials and administrators on the safety of rugby across Canada. For more information, please visit the Rugby Canada website or contact us.

A thrilling encounter saw the Roos come from behind to secure a crucial 1 point victory. Down by 12 points at halftime, captain Jake Morrison sparked the comeback with a brilliant individual goal in the late in the 3rd quarter. Young gun winger Tommy Chen sealed the win with a spectacular off-the-ground finish in the dying minutes. The defensive effort from Mike Stevens and Danny Walsh was outstanding, making crucial tackles when it mattered most.
