Investing in the future of Canadian Rugby

Referee Development Bursary

Presented annually by the ERURS
Matching funds of $500 from the ERU and ERURS
Email edmontonrugbyreferees@gmail.com for more information
To be eligible for the $1,000 bursary, a candidate must:
- be a current, active member of the ERURS
- be a certified referee
- be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institute
- recognized by the ERURS as a suitable recipient of the bursary

The Edmonton Rugby Union is located within the territories of Treaty 6, 7, and 8 as well as the Métis settlements and six regions of the Métis nation of Alberta within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. We acknowledge and are grateful that rugby throughout all of the Edmonton Rugby Union happens on the traditional meeting grounds, gathering places, and travelling routes of the Nehiyawak, Dene, Nakota Sioux, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi, Tsuu Tina, and Iyarhe Nakoda (Stoney Nakoda). We honour and thank all the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit who have lived, played, gathered, and whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries past and will forever more.
