Facility Information

The Ellerslie Rugby Park, situated on 30 acres of land is easily accessed on the west exit to Ellerslie Road from Calgary Trail or by travlling South on 111 Street. Our facility is surrounded by green space, has plenty of free parking and such features as:

  • A 180 seat Banquet room; carpeted with a hardwood dance floor (minimum booking 125 persons)
  • A 75-100 seat Clubroom has a smaller hardwood dance floor and a large fireplace (limited availability, minimum booking 35 persons)
  • A combined capacity of 300-350 (limited availability) when using the whole facility (minimum booking 225 persons)
  • Upholstered banquet chairs
  • High, vaulted ceiling, with natural light and air conditioning
  • A patio leading off the rear of the banquet room into a large landscaped backyard
  • Professional catering done by in-house staff

You purchase a liquor license and provide all liquor.

  • A corkage fee of $5.25 per person is charged. This includes plastic glassware, ice, bar supplies, soft drinks, orange and clamato juice.
  • A bartender charge of $90.00 each.
    1-75 persons = 1 bartender; 76-150 persons = 2 bartenders; 150+ persons = 3 bartenders

For a hassle-free event, let the ERP staff provide full beverage service from our bar.

  • No bartender charge for groups of 80 persons or more.
  • Inquire about our drink prices at 780-988-5245 or by e-mail.

NOTE: Last call at 1:00 AM, Facility closes at 2:00 AM.

  4. Gratuity of 15% is charged on food and beverages

  7. SOCAN tarriff ($29.56 to $59.17) applicable to all functions playing music.
  8. Prices subject to change with 30 days notice.
  9. Homemade wine, beer or cider cannot be served or consumed and is not allowed on the licensed premises. More information on this policy can be found at the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission website.
